The Islamic Association of Raleigh has selected Al-Ehsan Travel as Hajj Travel Agent for the upcoming 2010 Hajj season.

Package Price $5,300 (JFK-Hajj-JFK) THIS PRICE IS FOR IAR GROUP ONLY

  • THIS PRICE IS FOR IAR GROUP ONLY
  • The package price does not include Hajj fee $285, Zabiha for $115, and vaccination of Meningitis and Flu shot costs.
  • Air fare excludes the cost of air travel from RDU-JFK-RDU. If you plan to fly via Royal Jordanian, please add up to $400 more for airfare. There is no additional fee if you choose to fly Egypt Air.

Vaccinations

We recommend the following clinics to get vaccination shots in the Triangle:

IAR Group Dates 2010

  • Depart Raleigh (New York) on or about November 4 (Thursday) or November 5 (Friday) to fly directly into Medinah via Amman or Cairo.
  • Return on or about November 21 Sunday to New York (Raleigh). Return flight will be from Jeddah airport.
  • Group will move to Makkah on or about 5 Dhul-Hajj (which could fall on either November 10 or 11 or 12 this year)
  • Group will move to Mena on 8 Dhul Hajj
  • Group will move back to Makkah on or about (November 17 or November 18)

Hotels

  • Makkah Hotel is 4 star Fajr Island located approximately 300 meters from the Haram. This hotel will remain available during Manasik (Hajj Rituals) and hajjis may leave their luggage in the room.
  • Madinah Hotel is 4 star Mubarak Al Madinah approximately 50 meters from Haram
  • Both hotels will supply a half board open buffet, breakfast and dinner.

Airline

  • Package prices are from JFK airport. IAR will use Madinah first package. Flights will land directly in Madinah. Hajjis may use either Egypt Air or Royal Jordanian airlines for their travel.
  • If you choose Egypt Air there is no additional cost to airfare, however with Royal Jordanian there will be an additional cost of approximately $350 to $390.
  • Hajjis will have to make their own flight arrangements from RDU to JFK, once the final dates are set.

Manasik (Hajj Rituals)

  • Stay in Manasik will be in upgraded American Tents with mattresses and covers provided.
  • There will two hot meals and one dry(?) meal served each day. Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be available.
  • Due to the location of the American tents, by Saudi law private buses are not allowed to enter the restricted area of the American Association. Only approved Motowaf mua'alm buses will be used.

Important Deadlines

  • Deadlines for Hajii information and deposit of $1,500 will be due on July 10. Since there are only a limited seats available. The IAR Hajj team will need a copy of the passport along with the completed IAR Hajji Information Form.
  • Remaining balance will be due on or before August 8.
  • All documents requested should be submitted no later than September 20, 2010.

    2. Valid passport (till six months after November 2010 with at least 5 empty pages)
    3. Saudi Hajj Visa Application Form
    4. Copy of Green card if on another passport (both sides)
    5. 4 passport size photographs
    6. Conversion certificate (if applicable)
    7. Mahram permission for women over 45 going with group.

Additional Services

The following services will also be provided by Al-Ehsan Travel:

  • Provide assistance to every Hajii at Jeddah Airport on return journey . If the group has to wait at Jeddah Airport for more than 4 hours, then food and drinks will be served to the group.
  • Ziyarat in Madina is part of the Hajj package. No additional fees will be charged to IAR for this service.
  • All passport arrangements will be handled by Al-Ehsan personnel in the Motawif office in Makkah and Madina with the assistance of the IAR leaders.
  • In case of death or sickness of any Hajji, Al-Ehsan shall over see all procedures. Communications

Notes

Deposits will be refundable before the issuing of any tickets or visas; after tickets have been issued then Airline penalty will apply per person. After Visa has been issued deposits will NOT be refunded unless there is a serious issue which led to cancelation and this will be handled on a case by case basis. Refund will be given to the family.

Al-Ehsan cannot control when the embassy opens or when the airline companies decide to give us our tickets so we ask that you be patient with receiving your paperwork and passports before departure.

Hajj Workshops

Please reserve these three Saturdays in October 9, 16 and 23 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for Hajj workshops to be held in IAR Room 240. It is mandatory for IAR Hajj Group to attend these workshops.
