Women's Committee Activities
- Conduct Weekly Educational Classes: About a total of 6 or more, different classes conducted on a weekly basis. These include Tazkiyyat-un-Nafs or Purification Of the Soul class, Tajweed in English and Arabic classes, Quranic Arabic Class with focus on vocabulary, word roots and meaning of ayahs, Fiqh and Question-Answer sessions from Islamic point and so on.
ESL and Spanish classes conducted based on need basis. Exercise, Fitness and Karate Classes are conducted if there are sufficient number of participants.

- Organize Friday Night Program for Sisters: Organize social and learning opportunities for sisters. Conduct learning activities for children between ages 3 to 7 years.

- Conduct Conferences and Workshops:
- Annual Conferences: Conducted first conference on 'Rights and Responsibilities of Muslim Women' in 2009. Conducted conference on 'Health, Nutrition and Fitness' for Sisters in 2010.
- Workshops: Various workshops conducted for sisters from time to time. These include Computer Skills, Yoga and Fitness, Gardening, Flower Arrangements, Cake Decoration and so on.
- Support Annual Events
- Ramadan Taraveeh:
- Supervision of Sisters Musallah, Isles, etc: The committee volunteers strive to provide peaceful environment for sisters to offer Taraveeh by constant monitoring and supervision.
- Conduct Itikaf for Sisters: Organize for speakers and snacks. Provide monitoring and supervision for the safety and security of sisters.
- Conduct Children Activities for children from 3 years to 7 years. This helps many parents to come to the masjid to offer daily Taraveeh prayers during the month of Ramadan.
- Eid-ul-Fitr: Support and volunteer activities to organize eid prayer. Help with organization and supervision of sisters' area during eid prayers.
- Eid-ul-Adha: Helped with organization of sisters' area during the morning two shifts, by helping and directing sisters.
- Eid Festivals: Organized Eid Fitr Festival for the community in 2009 in IAR Campus. About 300+ showed up, about 40 volunteers helped to make this happen. Sisters' committee also took lead role in organizing the community wide eid celebration on the day of Eid-ul-Adha in 2009, in Dorton Arena. Worked with other committees to organize food and games. About 3500 community members participated.
