Friday Night Youth Program

The Friday Night Youth Program (FNYP) provides an Islamic environment where youth can build stronger bonds between themselves, the community, and the masjid. The girls program is designed to provide girls ages 8-13 with a sense of community, basic Islamic knowledge, sports activities, guest speakers, community outings, and service projects. Engages girls in self discovery and reflection, connecting with others, and community service.


MYC Complimentary Community Tutoring

As part of a focus on the educational and leadership development of the youth in our community at large, the IAR MYC is initiating a complimentary (FREE) after-school tutoring program for the Elementary / Middle School Girls and Boys.


2012 Summer Day Camp

The Summer Day Camp brings Muslim youth together for a day consisting of educational, recreational, and social activities surrounding a particular theme chosen by the MYC Planning Committee. The goal is to foster team-building, Muslim identity, and sisterhood.Youth Girls must be 8 by July 1 of the camp year and/or be in 3rd-8th grade. The camp will be held from 9 am - 6 pm. The 2012 date TBD.


Ramadan Itikaf

Done in the last 10 days of Ramadan, girls are invited to come out for a night of worshiping Allah, swt through reading Quran, making Dhikr and du'aa, and praying Qiyyam al Layl. Girls under 18 must be accompanied by their parent.


Ramadan Iftar

This iftar unites the sisters on a blessed day of Ramadan to gain reward for breaking their fast together, and to encourage them to spend more time at the masjid during Ramadan.
